1. Deloitte’s Josh Bersin has a great article up on Deloitte University Press making the case for why it’s imperative that companies make a substantial investment in HR analytics. This is one of the best articles I’ve read in weeks. Packed with powerful anecdotes and compellingly written, the endnotes alone are worth the price of admission (free). What are you waiting for? 2. Would you consider a candidate for a role if they’ve at some point held a job for less than six months? What about two jobs? Three? HR Consultant Sharlyn Lauby asks us to consider the circumstances under which we would grant a candidate a “job mulligan” – that being the chance to have at some point taken a job and (upon immediately recognizing taking it was a huge mistake) jumping ship.
