…By this I mean that I can understand where most people are coming from. I 2. Getting there…don’t always make the best decisions with this insight 2… but it has served me well in HR because most people – particularly when emotional – become lost in their point of view.
A lot of effective conflict resolution is understanding the different value systems and world views that lead two (or more) people to react to the same series of events differently.
I cannot prove this (and I am out of time for today), but it has been my experience.
Seek to understand before you act… or something.
